COSMIC MESSAGE

The Pleiades, also known as the Seven Sisters or M45, is the most famous star cluster in the sky. It is visible without binoculars, even from light-polluted cities. This open cluster contains over 3,000 stars, is about 400 light-years away, and spans 13 light-years. The blue reflection nebula surrounding the bright cluster stars is clearly visible in this photograph.
