COSMIC MESSAGE
A brilliant meteor, a Leonid bolide, streaks across the night sky over Kansas. This bright flash is caused by a small piece of cosmic debris burning up as it enters Earth's atmosphere. Leonid meteors are associated with the comet Tempel-Tuttle.
