Where is Upsilon Andromedae?

NASA APOD · Till Credner & Sven Kohle
COSMIC MESSAGE

Upsilon Andromedae is a star in the northern constellation Andromeda, visible to the unaided eye. Astronomers recently found three large planets orbiting it, making it the first known planetary system around a normal star other than our Sun. These planets were detected using a Doppler technique, which measures the star's wobble caused by the planets' gravitational pull. This method helps us find exoplanets, even when they cannot be directly photographed.
