COSMIC MESSAGE
Star cluster NGC 2266 is a group of old stars, roughly the same age as our Sun. They are bound together by gravity, and they all formed from the same cloud of gas and dust. This cluster is located in the constellation Camelopardalis, the Giraffe, about 10,000 light-years away. It is one of many objects in the New General Catalog, an astronomical list compiled in 1888.
