COSMIC MESSAGE
M19 is a globular cluster of over 100,000 stars, about 27,000 light-years away in the constellation Ophiuchus. What makes it unusual is its aspherical shape. M19 is the most elongated globular cluster known among the approximately 160 orbiting our Milky Way Galaxy.
