The Witch's Broom Nebula, also known as NGC 6960, is part of the larger Veil Nebula, a remnant of a star that exploded ten thousand years ago. The gas in the nebula glows with color as it crashes into and excites existing gas in space. This supernova remnant is located in the constellation Cygnus.
