The Cassini spacecraft, launched in 1997, is on its way to Saturn. Last week, while approaching Jupiter, it sent back this image from 81.3 million kilometers away. Cassini will join the Galileo spacecraft in studying Jupiter and its moons, with simultaneous observations planned.
