COSMIC MESSAGE

The Circinus Galaxy ejects hot gas, colored pink in this image, from its central region. Much of its tumultuous gas is concentrated in two rings. The outer ring, about 700 light-years from the center, appears red and is a site of intense star formation. A previously unseen inner ring, only 130 light-years from the center, is also visible.
