COSMIC MESSAGE
NGC 1850 is a unique star cluster in the Large Magellanic Cloud, our neighboring galaxy. Our own Milky Way does not have globular clusters this young. Close inspection reveals two clusters: NGC 1850A, about 40 million years old, and a smaller, even younger group, NGC 1850B, with stars only about four million years old.
