COSMIC MESSAGE
Sagittarius, the Archer, holds a treasure trove of bright clusters and nebulae near the galactic center. This image shows two such objects from Charles Messier's catalog: M8, the Lagoon Nebula, and M20, the Trifid Nebula. M20, in the upper left, displays a striking contrast of red and blue colors along with dark dust lanes. Just below and to its right, M8 glows with an expansive, alluring red.
