Fomalhaut Dust Disk Indicates Planets

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

Fomalhaut, the 17th brightest star, is only 22 light-years away and much younger than our Sun. Observations with a far-infrared detector show a dust disk around it with a central hole and a warped edge. The hole suggests dust has fallen onto inner planets, possibly like Earth. The warped edge implies the gravitational pull of outer planets.
