Pluto & Charon Eclipse a Triple Star

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

Pluto and its moon Charon passed in front of a bright triple star system, P126, two months ago. Such events are rare due to the small apparent size of stars and planets. By noting how P126 A dimmed, astronomers used the event to study Pluto's relatively unknown atmosphere, using the Very Large Telescope in Chile.
