Noctilucent Clouds

NASA APOD · Pekka Parviainen (Polar Image)
COSMIC MESSAGE

Noctilucent clouds are a rare sight, glowing long after sunset because they are so high in Earth's atmosphere. Even when the ground is dark, sunlight still illuminates these icy clouds from below the horizon. They form intricate, luminous patterns against the twilight sky, casting an eerie glow.
