COSMIC MESSAGE
Venus, the brilliant evening star, passed near the Pleiades star cluster, also known as M45, early in April 2004. The Pleiades are beautiful on their own, often seen surrounded by hazy blue reflection nebulae. This picture, taken on April 3, 2004, captures Venus next to them.
