COSMIC MESSAGE
Saturn's largest moon, Titan, has a surface normally hidden from view by thick methane clouds. The Cassini spacecraft, orbiting Saturn, released the Huygens probe to descend toward this mysterious moon. What the car-sized probe would find was unknown, but it was designed to survive for as long as 150 minutes on the surface. Huygens was expected to take as many as 1,100 images, beaming them up to Cassini for relay to Earth.
