Crescents of Titan and Dione
NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE
The sky above Saturn offers a view of many moons, often appearing in similar phases when seen close together. The Cassini spacecraft captured this image of two of Saturn's moons, Titan and Dione, both in crescent phase. Titan, on the lower left, is one of the largest moons in the Solar System and is always shrouded in clouds. Dione, smaller and brighter, shows its own crescent illuminated by the distant Sun.
