Venus and Mars passed within 4 degrees of each other in the sky earlier this month. This four-part mosaic image was taken a few days prior in Teresópolis, Brazil. In the pre-dawn sky, Venus was slowly rising night by night, while Mars was gradually setting. Besides these two planets, the morning sky also included other celestial objects.
