When the Cassini spacecraft orbited Saturn, it crossed outside the famous ring plane. The rings were imaged from the outside, nearly edge-on, and in the shadow of Saturn. Ring features include the A ring, the Cassini gap, the B ring, and the darker C ring, which has the Titan gap. This image captures the rings from a unique perspective.
