COSMIC MESSAGE
Comet C/2025 F2 SWAN was discovered by citizen scientists using data from the SOHO spacecraft's SWAN camera. The comet's coma, at lower left, has a greenish color from diatomic carbon molecules fluorescing in sunlight. Its faint ion tail extends nearly two degrees towards the upper right.
