“Magma Bubbles from Mt. Etna” is copyrighted by Stromboli online. NASA has permission to show it and we don't, so it isn't on this card.
See it on NASA's siteMount Etna, a basalt volcano in Sicily, Italy, erupted spectacularly in June 2001. This photograph captures the volcano expelling bubbles of hot magma, some over a meter across. Planetary geologists study Etna because its basalt composition and lava channels are similar to those found on Mars.
