A Martian Halloween

NASA APOD · Wally Pacholka (Astropics.com)
COSMIC MESSAGE

Mars was unusually bright this Halloween, hanging in the sky from sunset to sunrise. Earth passed Mars yesterday, bringing the Red Planet closer than it will be for the next thirteen years. Tonight, Mars is still a beacon, nearly as bright as last night, visible all night long.
