COSMIC MESSAGE
In 1999, the Cosmic Call project used a 70-meter radio telescope in Ukraine to send a message to nearby stars. This image shows the first page of that message, a visual introduction to humanity. The message was broadcast towards potential alien civilizations, with another transmission following in 2003.
