COSMIC MESSAGE
The Sagittarius Triplet includes three bright nebulae often seen in telescopic tours of the Milky Way's central region. M8, the Lagoon Nebula, is below and right of center. M20, the colorful Trifid Nebula, is at the upper right. NGC 6559, to the left of M8, is separated by a dark dust lane. All three are stellar nurseries, about five thousand light-years distant.
