This photo captures Saturn and Mars flanking the Beehive Star Cluster, M44. The planets were seen in the western sky shortly after sunset on June 14. M44 is an open cluster, a grouping of young stars, visible with binoculars. Both planets appear close together in the constellation Cancer.
