COSMIC MESSAGE
On October 6th, a nearly full Moon, at its closest point to Earth, shone brightly. This composite image shows the International Space Station, with its newly deployed solar arrays, silhouetted against the lunar disk. Six video frames recorded from California were used to create this picture of the ISS crossing the Moon.
