This deep field image captures the glowing Orion Nebula and the dark Horsehead Nebula, both part of the giant Orion Molecular Cloud complex. The region is about 1,500 light-years away and is a well-known star-forming area. The image combines over 20 hours of data, including emissions from hydrogen atoms.
