COSMIC MESSAGE
M13, also known as the Great Globular Cluster in Hercules, is one of the brightest globular clusters in the northern sky. Edmond Halley noted it was visible to the naked eye in 1714. Telescopic views reveal hundreds of thousands of stars, packed into a region 150 light-years across. It sits 25,000 light-years away from us.
