NASA APOD · Giovanni Benintende
COSMIC MESSAGE

Reflection nebula vdB 152 is a faint, dusty curtain in the constellation Cepheus, about 1400 light-years away. Pockets of cosmic dust within this region scatter light from an embedded bright star, giving parts of the nebula a characteristic blue color. The dust also blocks light from background stars.
