Enceladus Ice Geysers

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

Saturn's moon Enceladus erupts with ice geysers, seen here in a false-color, backlit image. The Cassini spacecraft discovered these majestic plumes in 2005 during close encounters with the moon. Eight source locations have been identified along fractures in Enceladus's south polar region. Scientists suspect these geysers originate from pockets of liquid water beneath the moon's surface.
