The New Horizons spacecraft captured this view of Jupiter's clouds on its journey to Pluto. Jupiter is known for its Great Red Spot and distinct equatorial cloud bands. This image, taken near the planet's terminator, highlights the wide variety of cloud patterns across the Jovian giant. Turbulent whirlpools are visible closer to Jupiter's south pole, on the far left of the image.
