During a solar eclipse, nature often projects images of the event. Small gaps between leaves on trees act as pinhole cameras, creating multiple recognizable eclipse patterns on surfaces. In Madrid, astronomer Philippe Haake observed this phenomenon during the October 3, 2005, annular eclipse of the Sun, with the patterns appearing on clothing.
