COSMIC MESSAGE
Orion, the Hunter, is one of the most recognizable constellations in the night sky. The stars and nebulae do not appear as colorful to the eye as they do in this camera image, taken from Cherry Springs State Park. The cool red giant Betelgeuse has a yellowish tint on the far left. Orion also contains numerous hot blue stars, like the supergiant Rigel.
