An Enceladus Tiger Stripe from Cassini

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

Saturn's moon Enceladus has unusual 'tiger stripes' that create plumes of water-ice. Scientists used the Cassini spacecraft to dive past the moon to study these plumes. There is speculation that liquid seas might exist beneath Enceladus' frozen surface. Such seas are of interest because they could potentially harbor extraterrestrial life.
