Orion Nebula: The Hubble View
The Orion Nebula, also known as M42, is a star-forming region about 1,500 light-years away. Hot young stars in the nebula have cleared away gas and dust, giving us a clear view of stellar birth. The Hubble Space Telescope captures this glowing gas surrounding those new stars.
