The Milky Way's plane passes through the constellation Auriga, the Charioteer. This wide skyscape shows many nebulae and star clusters within Auriga. Bright star Elnath is visible at the bottom right, linking Auriga to Taurus. Three open star clusters, M36, M37, and M38, line up in the dense star field above Elnath.
