COSMIC MESSAGE
Messier 76, also known as the "Little Dumbbell Nebula," is a planetary nebula, a gaseous shroud cast off by a dying sun-like star. It is one of the fainter objects in Charles Messier's 18th-century catalog. Astronomers believe the nebula itself is shaped more like a donut.
