Lutetia: The Largest Asteroid Yet Visited

NASA APOD
COSMIC MESSAGE

ESA's robotic Rosetta spacecraft visited asteroid 21 Lutetia, the largest asteroid yet. The spacecraft gathered data and images to better understand its history and the origin of its unusual colors. Lutetia is about 100 kilometers across, not massive enough for gravity to pull it into a spherical shape.
