This sight was worth getting out of bed early. Two years ago, Comet C/2020 F3 (NEOWISE) rose before dawn, delighting northern sky enthusiasts. The featured photographer captured this dramatic image of one of the few comets visible to the unaided eye this century. This inner-Solar System intruder, known as the Great Comet of 2020, was filmed rising over the Adriatic Sea from Italy on July 8th.
