COSMIC MESSAGE

Messier 27, also called the Dumbbell Nebula, is a planetary nebula. It is the glowing, expanding gas cloud from a sun-like star that has run out of nuclear fuel. Charles Messier noted it as number 27 on his list of things that were definitely not comets.
