Comet Hartley 2, officially 103/P Hartley, was the fifth comet ever imaged up close by a spacecraft. This composite image captures the comet in the constellation Puppis, sharing the field with star clusters. Hartley 2 has a six-year orbital period and is still visible with binoculars or small telescopes from dark sky locations.
