NASA APOD · Tamas Ladanyi
COSMIC MESSAGE

This image shows an analemma, a figure-eight curve tracing the Sun's position in the sky at the same time each day throughout the year. It was recorded from a backyard in Veszprem, Hungary, with 36 separate exposures of the Sun at 9:00 UT. The background image was taken without a solar filter, capturing the surroundings. This composite illustrates Earth's axial tilt and elliptical orbit.
