Titan, Rings, and Saturn from Cassini

Saturn's rings are remarkably thin, about one kilometer thick, making them many times thinner than a razor blade in proportion. This thinness is dramatically highlighted in images taken nearly along the ring plane. The Cassini spacecraft, orbiting Saturn, captured this image in infrared, showcasing the rings' delicate structure. The rings are primarily composed of billions of small ice particles.
