What would a sunrise look like on another world? We have only recorded them on Earth and Mars, but we can imagine. This image, though appearing to show a sunrise on an alien planet, is a careful combination of long exposures. It is actually based on a Venus-rise from Earth, creatively lit and captured a few weeks before this image was released.
