COSMIC MESSAGE
A pileus iridescent cloud, seen over Ethiopia, shows a spectacular array of colors. This happens when water droplets of a uniform size diffract sunlight by different amounts. The phenomenon creates a multicolored lining behind a darker cloud, a beautiful effect of atmospheric optics.
