The Perseid meteor shower, captured from Shiraz, Iran, shows meteors streaking across the northern summer Milky Way. These meteors are tiny bits of Comet Swift-Tuttle, burning up in Earth's atmosphere. The composite image combines frames taken before dawn, near the shower's peak.
