COSMIC MESSAGE
Thor's Helmet is an interstellar bubble blown by a fast wind from a massive, hot star at its center. This star is a Wolf-Rayet star, a rare type that sheds its outer layers quickly. The helmet is about 30 light-years across and sits in the constellation Canis Major. It is considered a pre-supernova stage for the central star.
