COSMIC MESSAGE
The Milky Way, our home galaxy, appears as a faint, luminous band across the night sky. The word "galaxy" comes from the Greek word for milk, a reference to this appearance. On dark nights, away from city lights, you can trace its path across the stars, just as this photo shows it arcing over Bryce Canyon.
