COSMIC MESSAGE
Last night marked the peak of the Tau Herculid meteor shower, which usually produces only a modest number of meteors. This year, Earth was predicted to pass through a denser stream of debris from Comet 73P/Schwassmann-Wachmann 3. While not the anticipated storm, it was an active display of meteors, appearing to streak from the constellation Hercules.
