COSMIC MESSAGE

M78 is a reflection nebula about 1,500 light-years away in the constellation Orion. Its blue color comes from dust reflecting the light of hot, young stars in the region. This telescopic view captures the intricate patterns of interstellar dust and bright nebulae surrounding it.
