The Chinese Yutu robotic rover has been exploring Mare Imbrium on Earth's Moon since late 2013. This time-lapse panorama shows the rover in three positions near the Chang'e 3 lander. Yutu, the size of a desk, goes into sleep mode during the two-week lunar night because it relies on solar power.
